Walking on Symi is a real pleasure, especially in the spring when the island is green and covered with spring flowers, and in the autumn when it is cooler. There is so much to see when walking the donkey tracks through the interior with forests, cliff walks, staggering views across to Turkey, and countless small churches and monastries.
